Bytespace's Corner

Journal of the Webmaster

While surfing the world wide web I stumbled upon this website called neocities and was truly amazed of what people was building in this service. Don't really think it's just a regular hosting provider, it's more than that, a community.

Didn't took too much time to find myself wandering in this new world, discovering a lot of new stuff and learned about this unique movement: The Web Revival. For sure it made me start to think retrospectively about how we truly are just in auto‐mode, consuming everything that the algorithm toss to us. No creativity. No spark. No humanity.

This led me to think again about something almost everyone has heard: connection hasn't been this easy before, but we aren't connected at all. Started to crave real social interaction, with real people. Thus I decided to jump into this movement, creating my really personal website here at neocities.

This website doesn't have much explicit purpose, nor a goal. This is for me to have a place to express and share without an algorithm. This is my little corner in the internet.
